LLANWDDYN WEEKEND OF FOLK & ACOUSTIC MUSIC

The dates for 2020 has been postponed until 2021

the venue is Llanwddyn Community Centre, Abertridwr, Llanwddyn, Lake Vyrnw, Powys/Shropshire borders, SY10 0LR

 

Dear all, 

We hope you’re all doing okay and getting through these strange times as healthily and safely as possible. 

It is with heavy hearts we have to inform you that the 2020 Llanwddyn Folk and Acoustic Weekend will not be going ahead.  This is of course due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  We are not cancelling… but postponing, until the 3rd-5th September 2021.  It has been such a difficult decision to make, but with the rules on lockdown not easing in Wales as yet, it became increasingly obvious that mass gatherings such as ours,  will not happen until later in the year.

This is such a sad and difficult time for any industry, but particularly crippling for the Music, Arts and hospitality industry.

Ken and I and the Team are determined to concentrate our energy on next year now, to ensure you have the best possible time ever.  We are almost 99% sure our artists line up will remain the same as advertised, but in the event one may not be able to perform,  we will replace them with an artist to equal the quality we feel we always provide you.

As you have already purchased your tickets, we have contacted you first as our priority. As is with many other festivals, we need to give you the options now available to you.  These are: 

1.    Transfer your 2020 ticket to 2021. We will honour your existing ticket for entrance to next year for the price paid.  Please advise by returning an email to llanwddynevents@gmail.com giving your name and ticket reference numbers. Thank you if you are happy to do this. It is a huge help. 
 

2.    Take a full refund – Obviously we would much prefer to hear you shout … “option 1- we’ll come back next year”.. but if you would like a refund, then please advise your Name, ticket reference numbers and BACS details via return email to llanwddynevents@gmail.com.  We will need your account number, sort code and the name on your account.  We will refund as soon as possible from receipt of your request.  These will be done on a first come, first serve basis and as quickly as possible. 

Whichever option you choose, please let us know so we can make a note against your booking. 

We are so sorry to disappoint so many of our loyal supporters, many of which are now friends. Plus our new supporters of course. We hope you will continue to support the festival and come back again next year.
